The Last & New Year

The year 2015 did not prove good for me as I lost my parents and one of my parent-in-law and as the year was drawing to an end it gave me one more blow in the form of death of another relative who was  a journalist and also elder brother of my brother-in-law. However the new year dawned with festivities as I attended the wedding of my former neighbour in the state capital and later on I went to national capital Delhi to attend a party as two of my class fellows were promoted to rank of Major General. They had arranged a get-together inviting their class fellows for a lunch party on 24th January 2015 and nearly 35 people turned up in this party making it a memorable occasion. These events gave me a new whiff of spirit and fresh lease of energy to continue my life. I hope that more festivities will come across in the year as my brother-in-law is retiring this year after nearly three decades of service from Agriculture University of the state in the month of June.
